The Man I Married has always been an audible breather at night, which has been a problem for a light sleeper like me. It’s not that he snores, just that he, well, BREATHES.
Now we have a new problem: he’s on some new medications to help with his persistent cough, and suddenly he is breathing very quietly. So quietly that I cannot hear him.
So now I lie awake waiting to hear him breathe, to make sure he is alive.
